Mystery car crash sparks Police appeal

Tuesday 19 February 2019

Police are hunting information about an overnight unreported car crash involving an Audi that happened "somewhere between St. Helier and Grouville".

The black S3 vehicle was found in the Grouville area around 04:00 on Sunday with "substantial damage" to its front end and white paint on its bodywork.

Police believe that the car was travelling from town to Grouville when the collision occurred.

However, as it went unreported, it remains unclear exactly when it happened.

This morning they issued an appeal to anyone who "may have seen this car, saw the collision, or who has any information" to get in contact by calling 612612 or making an anonymous report via Crimestoppers' online form.
