Passengers are being urged to leave more time for their journeys this weekend, with more than 27,000 people expected to pass through Jersey Airport over the four days marking the start of the school holidays.
A spokesperson for Ports of Jersey said: “With a large number of flights, many departing within minutes of each other, passengers are advised to leave plenty of time to check in their hold luggage and to clear security.
“Passengers who need to book special assistance for their journey should contact their airline before travelling to the airport and all passengers should check baggage rules with their airlines.”
During May and June some passengers faced delays and disruption as a result of staffing challenges faced by ground handling agent Swissport, which led to some Ports of Jersey staff working extra shifts to help cope with the large volume of flights, particularly on Saturday afternoons.
At the time, an easyJet pilot slammed the "spectacularly poor service" as the "the worst turnaround [he's] ever experienced" in more than 15 years of flying.

The weather forecast for this weekend shows maximum temperatures of 20°C or 21°C and winds from the south-west of force 4 or 5.
After a largely dry day on Friday, showers are predicted for Saturday afternoon and evening, and much of Sunday.
