New museum brasserie to open in spring

Tiffin are taking over what was the Merchant House Brasserie and are working in partnership with Jersey Heritage to create a new brasserie at Jersey Museum.

The new brasserie, set to open in the spring, will be known as the Museum Courtyard Bar and Bistro and include Expressions Cafe by Tiffin.

The Tiffin Group said: "A considerable investment has been made in opening up the interior, making it more attractive, inclusive and relaxing for visitors. The aim is to create a space that is able to showcase artifacts of interest whilst allowing discussion with friends and colleagues over a cup of coffee or tasty meal. The ever popular courtyard will continue to cater for food and drink in a relaxed style."

The museum lobby area and former brasserie are currently in the middle of major refurbishment with work scheduled to finish mid-March. A scheduled re-opening is set towards the end of March.

The Museum will be the group's fourth venue in Jersey after The Marina Bar and Restaurant at Castle Quay, The Brasserie at De Gruchy and Infusion.
