New post office sets sail in St Aubin

St Aubin's Post Office will open its doors today in its new home.

The old post office in the St Aubin’s Food Hall closed yesterday and reopened today in Jackson Yacht Services on the Bulwarks.

It will continue to offer a full range of services including letter and parcel postage, foreign exchange, Moneygram, utility bill payments; Jersey Telecom, JEC and Jersey Water bill payments and TV licence payments.

Mike Jackson, owner of Jackson Yacht Services, said: “The integration of the post office within my shop has gone very smoothly and I am delighted, and excited, to be able to work with Jersey Post on this new venture.”

Tim Brown, Jersey Post Chief Executive said : “We are pleased that at alternative location has been found for the St Aubin’s post office so that this important community service can continue within the village. We are sure that the new location will prove to be popular with residents and parishioners.”

The post office will be open from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Saturday.
