Only a hundred tickets left for the Million Pound Lottery

Thursday 06 July 2017

This year's Million Pound Lottery is breaking records. With just over 100 tickets left, Jersey Hospice Care say they will be selling out after just eight weeks, for the first time in many years.

A total of £1,300,000 will be given away in prize money, with £1 million as the first prize, followed by prizes of £100k, £75k, £50k, £25k and five prizes of £10k to lucky ticket holders.

Emelita Robbins,  Jersey Hospice Care’s Chief Executive, said: "The Million Pound Lottery is the biggest and one of the most exciting events in the Jersey Hospice Care calendar. It’s wonderful to be able to offer everyone in the local community a chance to win a life changing amount of money; islanders who throughout the year do so much to support their hospice."

With 6,000 tickets each priced £300, the Million Pound Lottery help raise £500,000 that then go towards the annual running costs of Jersey Hospice Care of £5.3 million.

Jersey Hospice Care is expecting to sell out this Friday, just eight weeks after the launch on 15 May and is advising islanders not to waste time in grabbing one of the remaining 101 tickets. They can be purchased from de Gruchy's between 10:00 and 16:00 and from Jersey Hospice Care between 09:00 and 17:00.
