Parked cars ‘maliciously damaged’

Police say a car had its window smashed, and another had its door dented in a malicious damage attack over the Easter weekend.

The pair – a silver Volkswagen and a grey Mercedes Benz – fell victim to the damage between 20:30 on Sunday 21 April and 06:00 Monday 22 April while parked at the David Place end of St. Mark’s Road.

The Volkswagen had its window smashed, while the Mercedes received a dent to the door. 

Police are now asking anyone who witnessed the damage being done to get in contact, as well as those with more information, on 612612 or by sending an anonymous report via the Crimestoppers website.
