A Jersey housing trust has submitted detailed plans to demolish two of the Island's oldest estates and build a £30m replacement.
Les Vaux Housing Trust - who provide social housing - says Troy Court and Valley Court in Grands Vaux are no longer fit for purpose.
The new scheme will see the current buildings knocked down and replaced by six blocks of modern housing.
There'll also be room for more people to live there: the number of units is going up from 108 to 123. It'll comprise 59 one-bed, 46 two-bed, and 18 three-bed units.
Each unit will have its own patio or balcony and there'll be three communal areas.
Planning has already given the project in principle approval, but detailed drawings are needed before the final go ahead can be given and work can start.
The new plans show the materials that will be used, the landscaping (including what they intend to plant), and car parking arrangements.
One unusual amendment to the original scheme has been made to the communal refuse stores. They were going to have flat roofs but now have pitched ones so bats can roost there.
