Police appeal for witnesses to Liberation Day dispute

Police are seeking information on an alleged assault that took place in People’s Park on Liberation Day.

A man and a woman were reported to have been “engaged in a dispute” when the woman is alleged to have assaulted the man in the park.

The incident, which is being treated as an alleged domestic assault, is thought to have taken place between 13:00 and 14:30 on Wednesday 9 May.
