St. Saviour's Honorary Police went on the hunt for two cows that went missing this morning.
Officers said the pair were last seen "in fields at Oakland’s, so could be in the Grande Vaux to Grand Route de Trinity Area".
In a post on Facebook, the Force added that they were already aware of a rogue trio in St. John, but noted: "These are not the cows we are looking for."
Anyone who spotted the cows was asked to contact the Duty Centenier.
Fortunately, within hours, the officers had solved the cow-nundrum of their whereabouts and were able to return them to the field.
