Police hunting vandals over £100,000 worth of damage to cars

Vandals did an estimated £100,000 worth of damage to 39 “high value vehicles” at Freelance garage at Longueville overnight on Friday.

The bodywork of the cars was scratched or keyed, and tyres on some of the cars were slashed.

Police say that the damage was done sometime between 6 pm on Friday evening and 6.30 am on Saturday morning.

Freelance hold the dealerships for Toyota, Lexus, Vauxhall, Nissan and Chevrolet cars in Jersey, as well as dealing in used cars.
