Police are appealing for any help to solve a bizarre theft yesterday after six rabbits and five chickens were stolen from a house in Green Road, St Clement.
The thief broke into the rear of the house between 07:00 and 12:00 and entered the garden before cutting the chicken wire to gain entry into the animal hutches. The rear garden leads out onto a pathway, that leads in turn to Victoria Court.
Police are seeking any witnesses to the incident. Members of the public can call the police on 612612 or anonymously on Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
