Police seek witnesses to "threatening" row at Le Braye

Thursday 24 August 2023

Police officers are appealing for witnesses to an argument between a man and a woman at Le Braye car park which involved "threatening" behaviour.

The incident was reported to have taken place on Tuesday between 15:15 and 15:30, after a woman in her 30s drove a white Mercedes 4x4 into the car park and a man in his 50s drove a silver VW Golf in behind.

Both parties stopped their vehicles near to the café and got out of their cars, before engaging in what was described as a "verbal altercation" of a "threatening manner", according to police, with the man driving off shortly afterwards.

Anyone who may have seen what happened or who has any information is asked to contact police on 612612 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their anonymous online form here.
