A local pub has this year raised more than £10,000 for a local charity supporting those with heart conditions.
Led by Sarah Burns, The Prince's Bar at Havre des Pas has just concluded a year of fundraising and awareness for the Jersey Heart Support Group.
Through a quiz, Christmas Day swim, sales of mulled wine made by Sarah's dad, a skydive with nine brave jumpers, and a CPR/defibrillator awareness afternoon, Princes Bar managed to raise a total of £10,823.82 for the charity.
The awareness afternoon also saw a presentation by the Celtic FC Supporters Club, which donated £2,000 to three charities: the Jersey Heart Support Group, Brighter Futures and ABC Jersey-Breast Cancer Support. The afternoon event culminated in the unveiling of an AED (defibrillator) outside of the pub.

The Jersey Heart Support said it "would like to send a huge thank you to Sarah and the Prince's Bar for all their hard work and fundraising and helping to improve cardiac support on the island".
