Richard Honeycombe has been named Constable of St. Ouen with 955 votes - but nearly half as many people voted for 'none of the candidates'.
The St. Ouen Chef de Police stood for Constable for the first time this year and, like his predecessor Richard Buchanan, did not face another candidate in the island’s biggest parish.
The last contested election for Constable in St. Ouen was in 2011, when Michael Paddock beat current Health Minister Richard Renouf.
This year, Mr Honeycombe only faced opposition from 'None of the Candidates' which received 31.7% of the Constable votes in St. Ouen.
