Jersey Airport is preparing for a special visitor on Saturday afternoon.
Santa is on a flying visit before he sets off on his customised sleigh around the Island.
There aren't any delays expected on his special charter flight direct from Lapland so children will be able to meet him at 1.50 pm.
Ports of Jersey’s Marketing & Communications Manager Alan Donald said: “We look after a number of VIP guests at Jersey Airport, ranging from royalty to rock stars but the arrival of Father Christmas is our most eagerly anticipated one. We hope as many children will join us on Saturday afternoon and as well as giving Father Christmas a proper Jersey welcome we'll also have some fun activities to keep them entertained."
From 12 noon until 2.30pm there's a number of activities to entertain the little ones including a chance to keep up close to one of the airport's fire trucks and snow ploughs as well as face painting, candy floss and mince pies.
Father Christmas will be there for about half an hour before he goes on tour as part of the annual Joint Christmas appeal, organised by the Jersey Round Table.
