Three teenage boys are to be charged with assault after being identified from videos of fighting and attacks on other schoolchildren posted on social media.
Police confirmed this morning that the trio - two 15-year-olds and one age 14 - will be dealt with at Parish Hall level, rather than in Youth Court.
Their identification comes following a major appeal to parents, schools and members of the public for information about a spate of videos being posted to an Instagram page called 'Jersey scraps 2'.

According to Sergeant Robbie Herd, the page's content was "violence-related" and featured footage of "local schoolchildren being filmed fighting and in some cases assaulted."
Police told Express this morning that the page and videos have since been taken down.
