Police are continuing to search for an islander who has been missing since Saturday morning.
This morning, officers resumed their search for 32-year-old Mateusz Ruszczyk. The operation is focused around La Moye Prison, where the black Volvo car he was driving was found, and the south-west coastline.
Yesterday, the Coastguard and Fire Service joined the police in looking for Mr Ruszczyk, who was last seen at his St. John home at 09:00 on Saturday. The Channel Islands Air Search aircraft also flew over the Island for an hour in the morning.
The Guernsey-based plane had also carried out an extensive search of the south and east coast on Sunday evening and early Monday morning, particularly between Corbière and Noirmont.
The RNLI and Jersey Lifeboat Association were also searching for Mr Ruszczyk from the sea.
Islanders who might have seen Mr Ruszczyk or have any information about him are asked to call the Police on 612612.
He often wears jeans, a grey Adidas zip-up top and a baseball cap, they said.
