Several injured in Broad Street brawl

Several men and women were injured, with one needing to go to hospital, after a fight that broke out near the Blue Note Bar this weekend.

Following the Broad Street brawl, which took place in the early hours of Sunday 1 November, Police arrested a 33-year-old man for affray and a 34-year-old man on suspicion of assault and affray. Both have since been released on bail.

A small group of men and women were involved in the fight which the police said happened at around 01:10.

Several of them were injured during the fight, with one requiring hospital treatment.

Police are seeking to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the incident. They are especially keen to speak to the man who called the force to report the fight.
