A derelict site next to the Robin Hood Inn, acquired by Andium Homes, will make way for affordable housing as part of an ongoing plan to deliver 1,000 affordable homes by 2020.
Located on the corner of Trinity Hill and Springfield Road, the site has been identified as an “ideal” location for affordable homes due to its position near to other Andium developments.
Andium also believe that the development fits in with the States of Jersey’s strategic plans to regenerate St Helier.
The housing company will now focus on preparing the site for development, as well as commencing work on affordable housing plans.

John Hamon, Chief Operating Officer for Andium Homes, commented: “This site is seen as an excellent opportunity for Andium Homes, given its town location and proximity to our other developments. New homes built on this site will demonstrate our ongoing commitment to deliver 1,000 more affordable homes by 2020”.
