St Aubin the latest on roadworks list

Friday 29 August 2014

In case you wondered if we could be digging up any more roads, TTS have announced that they’re about to start working on the stretch running right through St Aubin’s Village.

The resurfacing work starts on Monday and is being split into sections – the first bit to get done will be the stretch running from La Haule Slip to the Parish Hall car park, but the next phases will run right up to St Brelade's College.

The Transport and Technical Services department say that there will be lane closures and traffic lights in operation between 7.30 am and 4.30 pm from Monday to Friday. Buses will be running as usual throughout the day, and the road will be fully open at all other times.

Local firm Brenwal Limited is doing the work for the department, but a small number of spaces in the Landslide car park will be used as a site compound.

The work will stop on Battle of Britain day (11 September) or during the Branchage Festival from 25 to 28 September.
