'None of the above' campaign fails to unseat St. Brelade Constable

Thursday 23 June 2022

Mike Jackson has been elected as Constable of St. Brelade, with 2,333 votes in his favour.

Mr Jackson was elected unopposed in 2005 and 2008. He lost out to Steve Pallett in 2011 but returned to the parish hall in 2018, when he was elected unopposed.

Alongside three-quarters of fellow Constable candidates, he did not face a political opponent.]

The alternative option for 'None of the Constable' - for which there was a large campaign run by an anonymous islander - received 882 votes in St. Brelade.
