St Helier Seafood Festival set to make a splash at the waterfront!

Monday 29 August 2016

The first St Helier Seafood Festival promises to be fun-filled weekend with over 25 stalls to visit, plus live music.

It will be located on the Waterfront Promenade and Les Jardins De La Mer surrounding the Radisson Blu Hotel.

Organised by Jersey Development Company and the St Helier Town Centre management team, in conjunction with Radisson Blu Hotel, the event will bring a festival atmosphere to the waterfront. With over 25 stalls to visit, live entertainment, fresh seafood and family fun rides from the James Cole Family Funfair, visitors will find something for all the family.

Radisson Blu Hotel will launch the event with a soft opening of their al fresco area on the promenade on Thursday, September 8th

The main event will kick off the following day and will feature stalls selling crafts and seafood with participation from the likes of Faulkner Fisheries, The Prosecco Van, Le Fregate and many more. There will also be live musical performances from local artists such as The Little Big Band, La Ronde Concert Band of Jersey, British Airways Band and DJ Stefunk.

Not forgetting the meat lovers, The Radisson Blu Hotel and Le Fregate will also provide ‘sin-bin’ areas, where visitors can pick up a steak or meat dish to appease their cravings.

The soft launch of the festival will take place from 12 – 9pm on September 8th, with the main festival event taking place from 12-9pm from 9th – 11th September. Entrance to the fair is £2 per person, with all profits being donated to Teenage Cancer Trust.
