Recent stormy weather has proven to be a pain for the Grève de Lecq groyne.
Coupled with tidal swells, the wild weather has left the shore protection structure - which is designed to prevent sand and shingle from being swept out to sea by crashing waves - seriously damaged.
Members of the public are being advised by Ports of Jersey to keep well away from it.

Ports officials said they were "currently assessing the damage to the groyne and will be taking appropriate measures."
"Until that time, for safety reasons, members of the public are being asked to not access the area and warning signage is being put up."
