A 17-year-old boy has been charged with manslaughter following the death of a man in his 60s following an alleged fight in the street.
The 62-year-old victim was injured and hospitalised following the reported assault in Albert Street, St. Helier at around 17:00 on 5 March 2023.
He did not recover from his injuries and died on 22 March 2023 in the Jersey General Hospital.
Police confirmed this morning that a 17-year-old male, who has not been identified, has been charged with manslaughter.
The teen has also been charged with driving without a licence and driving without insurance.
He is due to appear in court later this month.
