Two teenage girls have been released on bail after being arrested for fighting each other in town before being confronted by members of the public.

One of the girls received a "bloodied nose" during the altercation which started around 21:00 on 1 February outside Chords coffee shop on Bath Street.

Police described them as being in their mid-teens, with one of the girls having long blonde hair and the other short darker hair. One was described as wearing a long white jacket with black leggings and the other was wearing a grey dress and black overcoat at the time of the incident. The girls are known to be friends with each other.
