Teen undergoes facial surgery after nightclub glassing

Monday 01 July 2019

A teenager had to undergo facial surgery after a glassing incident in Havana that led to the arrest of a 25-year-old man.

The man in his 20s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of Grave and Criminal Assault in the early hours of Saturday 29 June, but has since been released on police bail.

Police are now asking for the public's assistance in their investigation into what happened.

They reported that the glassing occurred following "some sort of incident next to the DJ box in the nightclub" around 01:00 involving a group of men.
