Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with an alleged assault on a man in his 60s near a WWI war memorial.
Police said they received several 999 calls from the pubic regarding what they described as an "altercation" at the Parade Park memorial around 19:30 yesterday (Sunday 8 November).
A 15-year-old girl and 14-year-old boy were subsequently arrested on suspicion of common assault, while another 14-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of affray.
The trio has since been released on bail while police continue their investigations.
