Tempers fray in bitter pita fracas at Turkish take-away

Jersey Police are appealing for witnesses after a fight broke out in the early hours of Monday morning at a Turkish-run take-away on Mulcaster Street.

The incident happened at 01.30 on Monday inside the Turkish Delight take-away and police say it involved several men and a woman in numerous groups fighting with each other.

Police say members of staff were also assaulted during the incident, and various items from the take-away were thrown around.
