Three cyclists were taken to hospital with serious multiple injuries after a crash involving two cars yesterday morning.
Bystanders had to help one of the riders who was trapped underneath a car at the scene before rescue crews arrived.
The accident took place just before 9 am on St Saviour’s Hill, between the parish church and the junction with Langley Avenue.
A 29-year-old woman and a 26-year-old woman were treated in the Emergency department and are still being treated this morning - a 28-year-old man was discharged yesterday afternoon after being treated in the Casualty department.
