A car had to swerve to avoid a couple in the midst of an argument alleged to have led to an assault, Police have said.
The alleged attack, which was said to have involved a “bare-chested” man assaulting a woman he knew “several times”, occurred on St. Clement’s Coastal Road on Monday between 22:30 and 22:45.
Police said that the pair had been arguing prior to the incident, and that a car “had to swerve to avoid [them].”
The man was reported to have been wearing shorts and no top, while the woman was described as having bleached blonde hair and wearing a black dress. Both are white and believed to be in their 20s.

Police are now seeking more information on the alleged incident, and would particularly like to speak to the driver of the car that was forced to move around them.
