The trial of an 85-year-old retired farmer accused of sexually abusing a teenage boy will re-start today in the Royal Court.
Bryan John Le Brocq is charged with eight counts of sexual assault on the alleged victim, who was 13 when it is claimed the abuse started. He denies all the charges.
The Royal Court yesterday heard Commissioner Julian Clyde-Smith adjourn the case for a day.
Three charges of indecent assault were alleged to have occurred between December 1999 and May 2000, but the offences are now alleged to have occurred between December 1999 and May 2002.
