Two in hospital after car crashes head-on into granite wall

Two adults were taken to hospital on Friday afternoon after the car they were in smashed into a low wall in St Peter.

The crash happened on Grande Route de Pierre, near the junction with Neuve Route, at around 2.45 pm. The Police, Ambulance Service and Fire and Rescue Service were all involved and roads were closed while Paramedics treated the casualties and the car was made safe.

The injuries are not thought to be serious and police are investigating the cause of the collision.
