A pizza delivery business must pay almost £24,000 in social security arrears, a Court has ruled.
In a Petty Debts Court judgment this week, Judge Sarah Fitz ordered that Hot Stuff Pizza on Stopford Road settle the arrears owed to the Treasury Department.
A total of £23,884.21 covered social security contributions from the final quarter of 2021 to the first quarter of 2023.
The business, which was not represented in the court hearing on Wednesday, was also ordered to cover fixed costs of the case, plus interest on the outstanding balance of monies owed from the date of the hearing until the date of payment.
