A moo-ving viral video has captured the rescue of a Jersey cow that managed to get its head wedged in the branches of a small tree in Denmark.
A family of kindly dogwalkers came across the stranded animal in a state of udder distress as it tried to get its head free from the branches.
The video drew attention from national ‘moos’ outlets including the Daily Mail.
Noticing that the animal had seemingly been abandoned by her herd, the family had to take drastic action to free the cow.

The cow-erful scenes were filmed by one family member as another attempted to cut down part of the tree.
Whilst the woman cuts through the trunk of the tree with a hand saw, the family’s black Labrador tries to play with its new farmyard friend as the cow waits to be rescued.
