The new English plastic £5 note entered circulation last week and the first ones have started to arrive in Jersey.
There is a growing trend on social media for people to donate the first plastic £5 note they receive to charity.
Family Nursing and Home Care (FNHC) are asking Islanders to donate their first fiver to the charity to fund 10 minutes of respite care for families of children with short lives.
You can hand your £5 in to FHNC at Le Bas Centre on St Saviours Road, or else keep the physical note and donate £5 online here
The charity is asking Islanders to help by post, email or tweet.
Family Nursing and Home Care provide nursing care in the community from birth to end of life.
