Police appeal for witnesses following "slow speed" collision with tractor

Tuesday 30 July 2024

Police are seeking witnesses to a “slow speed” collision involving a Mini and a tractor in St John.

The incident is said to have taken place on La Route Des Issues, between St John’s Inn and Marks and Spencer at around 17:30 on Monday 29 July.

In an appeal for information regarding the “slow speed” collision, police said that a white Mini Cooper was hit by a green tractor as it passed by, close to the junction with La Rue de la Mare Ballam.

Nobody was injured, but the Mini reportedly sustained some “minor damage”.

Police added that they “would like to identify the tractor driver” and hear from anyone who saw the incident or has any dash cam footage of the road around that time.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact the States of Jersey Police on 612612, or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their anonymous online form at Crimestoppers-uk.org.
