A woman in her 60s suffered minor injuries after she was hit by a moped as she crossed the road yesterday.

Police said she was struck around 16:00 on Tuesday (20 April) on the junction of Val Plaisant and David Place in St. Helier.

In an appeal for witnesses, officers said: “A 61-year-old woman was struck by moped as she was crossing from David Place towards Midvale Road.

"The collision caused the woman to fall to the ground causing minor injuries.

"The moped is described as a black and white Aprilia.”
