Woman indecently assaulted in library

A woman was indecently assaulted by an elderly man at the entrance of the library on Monday lunchtime.

Police are looking for the person responsible – who is described as being around 6’2” tall, and skinny with white hair and aged between his late 60s and early 70s.

They want anyone who saw the incident or who knows anything about it to get in touch with them on 612612 or 0800 555111.

The incident happened between 1 pm and 1.10 pm on Monday when the man touched the woman inappropriately after approaching her from behind, before leaving the area.
