From a colourful diet to mocktails... a local GP has shared her recommendations to help anyone going through the menopause unwind.

When eating to beat the menopause, focus on a Mediterranean style diet to help improve bone, brain and heart health.

Try limiting your alcohol intake to combat symptoms of the menopause. No more than two to three units of alcohol a day, and 14 units within a week, with some alcohol free days in between.
