Thursday 09 November 2023

Jersey Sport has announced the "inspirational" individuals and groups who have been shortlisted for the 2023 Jersey Sport and Move More Jersey Awards.

The Awards evening, taking place at the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel on 23 November, will see the winners of the 13 awards presented on stage with their trophies.

Award categories include the Jersey Sport Hall of Fame, the Local Hero Award, the Valerie and Sid Guy Lifetime Achievement Award, Sporting Performance of the Year Award, Sports Organisation of the Year, the Move More Workplace of the Year Award, and more.

This year, boxing champion Hannah Rankin will be the guest speaker, appearing after her 154lb World Champion fight at the Manchester Arena the weekend before.

Steve Law, Interim Chair at Jersey Sport, said: “We’re excited to welcome all our guests to this year’s Awards evening, to recognise the inspiring sporting achievements and excellent physical activity initiatives that have taken place across our island.
