Rainbow merch is being worn all over Jersey's sporting community as part of a drive to tackle stigma and promote LGBTQIA+ inclusion.
Headbands, sweatbands and laces are some of the brightly-coloured accessories Jersey Sport is encouraging everyone to wear throughout September as part of their 'Pride in Sport' initiative.
In collaboration with EY and local equality charity Liberate, Jersey Sport once again asking participants wearing their colourful kit, to take photos and videos to share on social media with the hashtag #PrideinSport.

Jersey Sport and Liberate will also be holding a free 'Lunch and Learn' workshop for sports club volunteers at Jersey Library next Tuesday 17 September from 12:10 to 12:50 to promote diversity and inclusion and share how positive change can be implemented.
Francis Malaspina, a Partner at EY in Jersey, said: "We are committed to fostering inclusivity across all spheres, including the workplace, homes, and communities. Sport unites us, and we believe that high performance is achieved when people can be their authentic selves.
"We are proud to continue supporting Pride in Sport and hope to encourage sports teams and events to promote awareness and inclusivity for the LGBTQIA+ community.”
Libby Barnett, Sports Programmes Manager at Jersey Sport added her enthusiasm for the initiative. “So many people know and celebrate the many benefits that sport brings to our community, but some islanders who identify as LGBTQIA+ feel there are barriers preventing them from enjoying these settings as much as others," she said.
"Pride in Sport is an opportunity to highlight sport's power and ability to welcome all islanders to get involved and play sport in safe and inclusive spaces."
If you know of a sports organisation that would like to collect free rainbow merch, items are available from Jersey Sport HQ at FB Fields from 09:00 to 16:00 every working day throughout September.
Sports clubs can also find a wealth of resources about inclusive sport and how to create an inclusive environment, in the Jersey Sport online resource bank.
