The Alderney contingent will be led by the President of the States of Alderney who will read a Loyal Address and present His Majesty with it.
That will happen at Les Cotils which is being used as a base for both Alderney and Sark events during the afternoon of the visit.

William Tate will be accompanied by representatives of the Court of Alderney, the States of Alderney, students from St Anne’s School, a representative of Alderney’s frontline services, and members of as many charities, clubs and organisations that it is possible to accommodate.
Because of the logistical issues, Alderney can only bring 36 people by sea to Guernsey on the day, but anyone who can make their own way to Guernsey from Alderney is invited to also attend, with an area set aside for members of the public from Alderney and Sark specifically.

While details of the programme for Alderney are being finalised, the island says its intention is for young people from St Anne’s School to prepare a short recital showcasing the Island’s unique history.
The representatives from the charity and volunteer groups and island officials who will also be there will represent other aspects of island life, showcasing the work of the third sector in Alderney, the island’s history and its environmental initiatives.
The event will be livestreamed on the day on the States of Guernsey Facebook page and at gov.gg/royalvisit2024. The plan is to show this livestream at the Island Hall on the day.
