The rough itinerary and the timings shared below are all subject to change but are the latest information available at the time of publication.
The key events and locations have already been publicised and now we can confirm that Their Majesties will first be seen in the island at around 11am.
Timings:
10:00: Members of the public encouraged to gather in town and at Cambridge Park for the family event.
10:30: People wanting to line the route the King and Queen will take into town are encouraged to be in position by 10:30.
10:00-10:30: St Peter Port Seafront Parade.
10:55: Live stream (Seafront events) starts – this can be viewed on the States Facebook page HERE or on Youtube HERE.
11:10: 21-gun salute (Castle Cornet) to signal the arrival of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
11:20: Special States sitting and Ceremony of Homage, St Peter Port attended by the King and Queen.
11:55: Plaque unveiling by King Charles on the site of Guernsey’s Proclamation of His Majesty’s Accession to the Throne.
12:00: King Charles and Queen Camilla to ‘walkabout’ on the Crown Pier.
13:00 – 16:00: Crown Pier stalls will remain open to public after Their Majesties have left the seafront area.
14:35: Live stream (Les Cotils event) starts
14:40: Les Cotils event begins (for Alderney and Sark residents)
16:00: Les Cotils event ends (for Alderney and Sark residents)
16:15: Family event closes: Cambridge Park.
