There will be pumpkin carving, ghoulish games and ‘spookalicious’ soups to match the Halloween theme.
The family event takes place this Saturday from 11:00 to 15:00 at the Walled Garden and the organisers hope to get people into the holiday spirit.
Guernsey Botanical Trust volunteer Cathy Morgan said provenance runs through the halloween-themed fundraiser, with soups made using produce from the garden, while handicraft from La Choppe and home-grown plants will also be on sale.
“There are plenty of spooky activities for children, with a Creepy Crafting Cavern, a Halloween Bug Hunt in the garden and other ghoulish games.”
People are encouraged to wear their best ‘spooky costumes’ and there will be pumpkin carving displays available throughout the day, which will conclude to the sound of the Samba Burros between 14:00 and 15:00.
