Dance Classes – Salsa + Bachata

Are you looking to try something new this September?

Learn to dance in a fun, friendly, social environment – with Heidi, a highly experienced dance teacher!

Taking place at Mojitios on Wednesday evenings, you’ll get the opportunity to learn the vibrant Cuban Salsa and/or the everpopular Bachata!

Bachata is an easier version of Salsa that can be danced to most music – classes will take place from 6:15pm.

This is followed by the Cuban Salsa classes, which will take place from 7:30pm.

In both classes you will learn several turn patterns with technique, and learn to lead/follow in partner dancing.

All ages welcome.

Don’t miss this fabulous opportunity to meet new people, enjoy exercise to improve well being, and of course, learn a valuable skill that will stay with you for life!

Done to Death, by Jove!

The latest St James performance is just around the corner… A Great British Detective Play with a twist.

Created and performed by Nicholas Collett and Gavin Robertson, the show will take place next Wednesday the 10th of September from 8pm.

The Great British Detective tradition! Holmes and Watson meet Poirot and Miss Marple (alongside the usual suspects) in a spoof homage – who murdered Lady Fanshawe!? Why is Matron Maudesly so friendly with one of the guests at the Clinic of Hopes and Cures!? Why have the sound cues got mixed up?

Made all the more tricky to tell, as theatrical knights, Sir Gavin of Robertson and Sir Nicholas of Collett attempt this 6-actor show, given the other 4 are stuck in a broken-down van on the M6. With only the two of them to play all the assigned roles, what could possibly go wrong?

Re-interpreting ‘The Art of Coarse Acting’ with a farcical result, it’s time to guess WhoDunWhat and how.
