Andrew McAttee is Art for Guernsey’s latest artist in residence and his exhibition ‘Flashlight’ is currently open to all.

His work is influenced by graffiti art and abstract expressionism and some of his work has been inspired by time in both Guernsey and Sark. Flashlight is open until 2 September.

On the 7 September Paul Chambers will be launching his ‘Catching Light & Time’ exhibit, where his work catching the “movement of light” at Moulin Huet will be on show. It’ll run until 17 December.

These exhibitions will be held in Art for Guernsey’s gallery on Mansell Street.

Finally, Art for Guernsey will be opening the doors to the only Renoir exhibit in the world in 2023 at the Guernsey Museums and Galleries at Candie Gardens.

It’ll open on 30 September and will celebrate the 140th anniversary of Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s visit to the island.

There’ll be secondary Renoir exhibitions held at various other venues as well, including the Priaulx Library and Art for Guernsey’s gallery on Mansell Street.
