MTG presents: The Last 5 Years
Supported by Guernsey Arts
Written and composed by Jason Robert Brown, Music Theatre Guernsey brings a series of emotional musical performances to the stage of the Fermain Tavern.
With three separate casts individually interpreting the relationship between characters ‘Cathy’ and ‘Jamie’, a unique and varied performance is guaranteed with each viewing. There will be only 9 individual shows between the 9th and 16th of August – don’t miss your chance to secure tickets to this ambitious project on MTG’s website.

Pilgrimage to Bach
Supported by Guernsey Arts
3 beautiful performances, 3 historic parish church venues, 3 days.
Join skilled violinist, David Le Page, as he explores a complete cycle of Bach’s sonatas and partitas in a solo show, accompanied by brief readings of poetry and religious texts. Passages of plainchant of liturgical settings directed by Joseph Edwards will feature before each work of Bach is performed. Each concert will follow a similar format, but variety between each performance will be ensured in differing music and readings. Admission is free of charge, but donations on the night are welcome.

Vale Church – 18th of August • St. Peter’s Church – 19th of August
Town Church – 20th August
All concerts will begin at 8pm, with a duration of approx 1 hour.
KIOSK – An exhibition by Jeni Snell
Adorning the walls of Sula Gallery in the north of the island, Jeni Snell brings a snippet of Guernsey summertime to life; in the form of contemporary digital pieces, seamlessly coupled with unique, brutalist sculpture work. Running throughout August, the exhibition is now open to the public Monday-Saturday, 10th-31st of August. Sula will be closing for the bank holiday, so be sure to save a spot in your calendar to head down and visit this wonderful exhibition!
