The States-owned airline has been honouring its 50th anniversary over the past year and is ending the celebrations with a car treasure hunt around Guernsey.

The event will start at Guernsey Airport on 23 March and participants will follow ten clues, with the winning team being awarded the “bumper golden giveaway”.

PR Manager, Jess Mauger said: “We wanted to close the year with another event and ensure as many people as possible could take part. Unlike other hunts, the date of this has been announced in advance and we are encouraging as many people as possible to come and do the hunt as just a fun activity, the the added bonus that they may win the final golden tickets.

“All the destinations for the clues are accessible by car with just a quick hop out to work out the clues. We wanted to make the final event as inclusive as possible.”

The hunt will be available from the Aurigny ticket sales desk between 10:00 and 11:00 and hunters will need to return their sheets to the same place between 15:00 and 16:00 to be in with a chance of winning.

If more than one team gets all the answers right, a tie-breaker question will decide the winners.

Anyone wishing to take part is asked to register their interest by emailing competition@aurigny.com.
