£1138.28 was raised in aid of the animal charity by the hundreds of bikers at a two-hour catch up and fundraising event.

“I am just astonished by the turnout, thank you all so much,” Jason Rostron from Greenman MCC. “It is so humbling to see so many of you out to help raise money for GSPCA and some amazing machines out too.”

GSPCA Animal Welfare Manager Lorna Chadwick attended the event and was delighted by the amount of support.

“It was a great evening and not only did we raise over £1,100 for the the many animals at the GSPCA and our work, but we will also be receiving a share from the proceeds of a raffle being run by Millards and Co.”

GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne added: “The pictures look fantastic of the Greenman Mcc Bike Night and from us all at the GSPCA, thank you so much for supporting us.

“Every day is a real struggle to raise the funds to run the GSPCA during these difficult days.”
