Buses are back, with masks, social distancing and no cash

The only exception to the scheduled return of bus service will be that the night owl services remain suspended until Stage 3, which has been mooted for two weeks’ time.

Despite its return, some restrictions will still be in place; capacity will be limited to maintain social distancing, face coverings are still required unless exempt; and cash fares won’t be allowed until Stage 3.

Meanwhile, The States of Guernsey is still encouraging ‘Active Travel’ wherever possible, an initiative spearheaded by the Health Improvement Commission.
